Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a sub-specialty of dentistry involving surgery of the oral and facial areas.  Advanced education and training is required after dental school. In some cases, such as Dr. Silva's, a medical degree is also obtained.

 

Dr. Silva practices the full scope of oral surgery from dental implant surgery, wisdom teeth removal, advanced bone augmentation techniques and intravenous sedation.  The surgical staff consists of experienced and caring individuals who are certified in oral and maxillofacial assisting by the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
